U4-10039 - Userdetailpage - Ability to add a custom view to the usersection

Created by Jeffrey Schoemaker 20 Jun 2017, 06:59:05 Updated by Jeffrey Schoemaker 20 Jun 2017, 07:02:13

I've seen the previews of the userdetailpage in Umbraco 7.7 and it looks great. One thing that I would love to see is the ability to add a custom view to the user detail-section where you for example can add an overview of all logon/logout-attempts, etcetera.

Or if somebody comes up with the fantastic idea to also store the birthdate of an user, for whatever reason, then it could be done in this view.

Maybe it should even be possible to add multiple views (one inserted by package X, one by package Y and one with your own functionality), but that is a nice-to-have.

A good place could be on the right top-panel where you also have section in de doctype-editor for Design, ListView, Permissions and Templates.

And of course it would be great if this could be easily applied to other sections too. So for example if I want to create a CRUD-editor for every doctype per usergroup (which usergroup can Create node of this doctype, which usergroup can Delete nodes of this doctype, etc) it could be done in a seperate view that can be easily inserted. (see http://umbraco.usermanagement.perplex.eu/doctypeeditor.html and the last tab 'security' for what I would like to accomplish with a package or something like that)
