Right now, there are four different property editors for drop downs:
This seems silly to me, as all the variations could easily be unified and managed instead of prevalues. For example, you could create a "Drop Down" property editor with two checkbox options ("Allow Multiple Items to be Selected" and "Publish Key Values").
That would clean up the list of data types a bit, and it would have the additional benefit that I could toggle between the various types of drop downs without losing my list of values, such as was the case with this one:
I had initially planned to allow for a content editor to choose a single day, but then I realized it made more sense to allow them to select multiple days. This would have been a real pain if this drop down contained more values, as when you change the property editor "Dropdown list" to "Dropdown list multiple" all the values disappear.
I'm using Umbraco 7.6.4, but I'm pretty sure this applies to every Umbraco version released to date (currently up to 7.6.5 and 7.7 beta).
