Your report will have a greater chance of being addressed if you can give us clear steps to reproduce the issue, please answer the following questions in as much detail as possible: What did you do? Our Gold Partner Embrace, reported an issue with the multinode tree picker when you select media items no content is rendered on frontend. It worked perfectly fine when you selected content instead of media.

I did the following steps to verify this issue:

  1. Created a document type called homepage
  2. Added a property to document type homepage called RelatedFiles using the multinode tree picker data type.
  3. Set the multinode tree picker to pick from media files.
  4. Added the following razor script to the homepage template: @{ var typedMultiNodeTreePicker = Model.Content.GetPropertyValue<IEnumerable>("relatedFiles"); foreach (var item in typedMultiNodeTreePicker) {

    @item.Name

    } }

We did the following to test the multinode tree picker set to media: 5. Created a content page based on the homepage doc type called homepage. 6. Set the homepage content page to pick some images from the media folder 7. Frontend returned nothing!

We did the following to test the multinode tree picker set to content: 5. Created a content page based on the homepage doc type called homepage. 6. Created 3 child node pages to the homepage content page (test1, test2, test3). 7. Set the homepage content page to pick pages test1 and test2 8. Frontend returned test1 and test2

We repeated this whole test in 7.8.1 and it worked perfectly!

Thanks Jesper! This is the issue we've been battling with for the last few hours. A workaround is available right now in the U4-10958 issue. Simply drop the attached file in App_Code and everybody will be a lot happier. :)
