When editing a page with around three or more rich text editors in the grid it seems as though it will infrequently load with an incorrect height of 16 pixels. The contents of the RTE actually fully exist inside the iframe, the only issue is the height of the Iframe not being set in the grid.
I'm using Chrome 67 (x64)
I have observed this occurring in three independent Umbraco installations.
The issue will typically affect all RTEs on load but I have observed one instance in which it affected the RTEs on a single tab. This does not affect RTE fields, only RTE grid editors.
I cannot find any consistent method of reproducing this issue, however despite being quite infrequent it still happens frequently enough for it to be an annoyance.
Hey @Alpha - this seems like an annoying problem! Unfortunately without a way to reproduce or clues on where the problem might come from, there's not much that can be done about it.
I'll close this for now but if you or someone who comes along can demonstrate a consistent way to reproduce, make sure to re-open it so someone can have a look at it.
Hi, I'm experiencing a similar issue (maybe the same). The behaviour can be observed in the screencast I attached to this issue. So far, I don't have an isolated pattern to reproduce the issue, I'll try to find one and if I can, I'll investigate where the issue can come from.
As for the configuration, nothing really fancy, just a simple RTE in a grid with one column.
