U4-11548 - Add "current node" option to content picker

Created by Sébastien Sougnez 31 Jul 2018, 13:55:52 Updated by Sebastiaan Janssen 31 Jul 2018, 21:11:55

When configuring a content picker, it could be interesting to have an option "Current node". This setting would define that the starting node of the node selection would be the page on which it is applied. This could be interesting for example in a multi lingual site where you don't want to allow the editor to select a page from a different language.

What do you guys think?

Btw, I found this PR that looks a bit like what I propose: https://github.com/umbraco/Umbraco-CMS/pull/121 but it does not look like it is present in the v7.

We would encourage you to use the multinode treepicker for this, which already has this option!
