U4-1677 - Model.Content.GetPropertyValue throws null ref error on inherited properties from Master Doc Types

Created by Randy McCluer 08 Feb 2013, 19:54:09 Updated by Sebastiaan Janssen 07 May 2013, 13:52:46

I'm on rev. 11dc5fc6853c, so this could be fixed in 6.1 or 6.0.1, but I didn't see any relevant commits. Just trying to reference an inherited property in a razor view. [NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.] Umbraco.Core.<>c__DisplayClass2.b__0(Tuple2 tuple) in \Umbraco.Core\PublishedContentHelper.cs:82 System.Collections.Concurrent.ConcurrentDictionary2.GetOrAdd(TKey key, Func`2 valueFactory) +111 Umbraco.Core.PublishedContentHelper.GetDataType(ApplicationContext applicationContext, String docTypeAlias, String propertyAlias) in \Umbraco.Core\PublishedContentHelper.cs:76 Umbraco.Web.PublishedContentExtensions.GetPropertyValue(IPublishedContent doc, String alias, Boolean recursive) in \Umbraco.Web\PublishedContentExtensions.cs:154 Umbraco.Web.PublishedContentExtensions.GetPropertyValue(IPublishedContent doc, String alias) in \Umbraco.Web\PublishedContentExtensions.cs:140

I can't reproduce this any more in the latest nightly so I'm assuming it's fixed in the mean time.
