U4-1914 - If no doctypes are allowed at root, then all of them are allowed

Created by Sarah Green 13 Mar 2013, 13:30:43 Updated by Sarah Green 13 Mar 2013, 17:23:52

Relates to: U4-158

If there are no document types with Allow at root selected then the user can create any document type there (even if one already exists) ... so cannot prevent users from creating multiple root nodes even if this is not applicable/wanted.

Already recognized that as well. Seems that every document type is allowed as long as the limitation list is empty.

From what I remember this is for backwards compatibility. If upgrading, no nodes will have this attribute set and to keep existing behavior, Umbraco allows all document types to be created at the root, like previous versions did.

Should be just fine as long as everyone is noticed about that.

As said earlier this is indeed a way to keep backwards compatibility. Please see the related issue for that information.

Ps. "Version 6.0.2" is not an issue title, please in the future could you give a short summary of your problem in the title? Thanks!

FYI: When creating an issue, you can select the affected version, in this case 6.0.2. The selection can be done under the description field.

OK Sorry for the Version number in the title ... it was added by default after I searched buy will remember to override it next time
