I wanted to make a slight tweak to one of these text labels tonight for a client site, and was surprised to find that these labels (Content, Media, Settings, Developer etc.) are actually flattened/rasterized into the sprite map itself, not lending itself to simple modification. (Or localization?)
I'm wondering, since I know Umbraco has multilingual support, are there other versions of TraySprites or does everyone just get English? Also, since I want to add my own custom icon down here now and have it be visually consistent with the others, I'm wondering what others have been doing here: If I can't match the font, sizing, spacing et cetera exactly then I suppose I would just rebuild the whole traySprites.png file myself (including my new icon(s) of course!). This isn't really a problem to do, and I know/hope this will probably be a non-issue in Belle, ... but thought I might throw this out there anyway for consideration. Thanks!
File (also attached) is usually found at /umbraco/images/tray/traySprites.png
P.S. I'm marking 6.1.0 on this issue as "affected" as well, since I'm not sure if this has changed at all and assuming it's still the same as in 4.11.x...??

It's some version of Arial. And yes, people have been replacing it themselves.. :) Any UI related issues will be moved to Belle as it would be a shame to waste time now on something that is going to be replaced again anyway in a few months.
