U4-2115 - 6.1 Beta - The specified table does not exist. [ cmsPropertyTypeGroup ]

Created by Paul Sterling 16 Apr 2013, 01:32:12 Updated by Paul Sterling 16 Apr 2013, 20:29:13

After copying an installed 6.1.beta site with Simple Starter Kit installed to a remote Concorde site the back-office runs as expected, but the content tree is empty. Also, occasionally the following YSOD is returned when the site is first loaded, then the site loads as expected with a refresh (minus the content tree). A right-click on content > create results in the same YSOD. As far as I can tell, the table stated as missing is actually there and has data:

================================================================

The specified table does not exist. [ cmsPropertyTypeGroup ]

How is the site installed in the first place? Can you attach the sql cell database?

Paul Sterling 16 Apr 2013, 17:50:06

Just a standard unzip, install, run via WebMatrix...the error occurs sporadically, so a browser refresh will load the back office - but with an empty content tree.

Well that is pretty weird since the cmsPropertyTypeGroup table IS in the database...

A combination of re-uploading the SqlCe database file and waving lit sage seems to have resolved the issue. I assume it was due to an issue with the .sdf file but it could have been because I forgot to light the sage initially.
