After I upgraded from 6.0.3 to 6.0.4, I now see a MySQL error on the backend homepage when I first sign in. It looks like there is a problem with a SQL statement referencing the UmbracoLog table. I've attached the exception generated by IIS.
I suspect this is a problem with the latestedits usercontrol. Try to disable it in the dashboard. I guess mysql doesn't support "select top 30 from.." queries.
Disabling latestedits worked.
Hi Sebastiaan - I've got the same error - is this due to be fixed in an update soon?
Sorry, this is low priority at the moment, we'd be happy to accept a fix if someone can provide one. Should be pretty easy to make the query compatible with MySQL.
Workaround: remove lastedits from dashboards.config.
