After upgrading to 6.1.0, the context menu for media library only shows one option: "Reload nodes".
Unable to delete existing media items.
I can confirm this issue running with MySQL 5.6.11.
Fixed in changeset 85379d556316 Updated umbraco.dll attached to issue, so just use that to correct the issue.
Think there might be a typo in that build.
I'm getting: Method not found: 'Void Umbraco.Core.ObjectResolution.ApplicationEventsResolver.InstantiateLegacyStartupHanlders()'.
Should it be "InstantiateLegacyStartupHandlers"?
I'm getting the same exception as Andy.
Okay, that's weird. The only thing changed was the BaseMediaTree which has nothing to do with this. Just to be sure, did you unblock the assembly after having unzipped it? I'll look into this first thing tomorrow.
I tried both extracting with 7-Zip (which I've always used in past) and also unblocking. No luck.
It appears that the DLL you attached was compiled against an old version of Umbraco.Core.dll. I did a diff on ApplicationEventsResolver.cs and noticed that a previous version of the code had the same misspelled function name as the failing call.
I'm getting this as well. Only context menu option is "Reload nodes".
Sorry for the non-working umbraco.dll. I have created a new patch and tested that it does indeed work with the 6.1.0 release. Zip file with patched umbraco.dll is attached to this issue - umbraco.zip
The new DLL appears to be working. Thanks.
