When I run a local development instance I'm able to save templates just fine through the back-office; deployed, I receive an error, "Template not saved. Please make sure that you do not have 2 templates with the same alias." In the web.config I have <httpRuntime requestValidationMode="2.0" ... I'm wondering if [HttpValidate(false)] would make a difference on SaveTemplate() method in SaveFileController.cs. I can't seem to get the solution to build for me to try it myself. I will say this apparently affects more than just v6.1.1 according to this post: http://our.umbraco.org/forum/ourumb-dev-forum/bugs/40661-Saving-Master-template-with-script-tags-doesnt-work Since I have direct access to the file system, the workaround is to stub pages the master containing script tags then edit the file directly outside of the back-office.
I really can't figure out how you trigger this problem or why it would just be
