U4-2541 - Creating Content and Media item with same nodename

Created by Rody van Sambeek 25 Jul 2013, 08:50:33 Updated by Rody van Sambeek 26 Jul 2013, 10:33:29

Duplicates: U4-2458

Ever since version 6 when you create a content item in the root with the same name as a media item in the root. It will autmoatically update the nodename to " (1)". This means you cannot have the same nodename content item as media item. In v4 this was definitely possible because we noticed this on an update to Umbraco v6.

I think this is a duplicate and fixed in 6.1.3

I doesn't look likeexactly a duplicate issue, but I can't reproduce the issue in 6.1.3 so I'm assuming it fixed now.

Sounds like the same issue to me. With root nodes that are based in umbracoNode table all types were a potential issue. But was fixed by correcting the query used for content and media. So should be all good now.

I've updated to 6.1.3 and indeed the issue is correctly resolved. Thanks for your help!
