Hi there, Using Umbraco 6.1.4. The href tag will keep the value instead of changing it to the appropriate Url. I noticed it when calling @Model in Macroscript or Node getPropery on both, MacroScript and Views. Cheers mkariti
Correct, we need to keep it that way for a while for backwards compatibility (there are people who rely on this behavior now)
Sebastiaan is it correct that this also not works in de rte editor to output on a page?
I have used @Umbraco.Field("bodyText") and get <a href="/" back on a mvc site
so to be clear not in a MacroScript but in a normal template!
@mvanhelmont You can use @CurrentPage.BodyText instead.
yes i have already seen it also Model.Content.GetPropertyValue("bodyText") works. But it's confusing because the template editor uses @Umbraco.Field("bodyText") even the source code of de Field extension comments
//because we are rendering the output through the legacy Item (webforms) stuff, the will already be replaced.
so for people that are new to umbraco it is strange behavior and their thinking it's a bug
@mvanhelmont Yup, we know, it's been like this for years though, so while we can't change it in v6, in v7 it's fixed.
I currently using 7.0 and it was not fixed i even found a bug in de rte plugin that passed /umbraco/ instead of / i have already submitted a small pull request.
Or are you refer to 7.0.1?
Hmm, okay, that's a new bug then. Created U4-3799 so that it will be fixed in 7.0.1.
