U4-2830 - Allow for JSON saved objects to be auto-converted on the front-end (views) if no PropertyValueConverter is found

Created by Shannon Deminick 10 Sep 2013, 12:46:49 Updated by Shannon Deminick 24 Apr 2014, 06:57:50

Relates to: U4-2829

If a property editor saves a raw JSON object (U4-2829) then when this value is returned on the front-end in the views, the system should of course check for a property value converter, if one is not found, we should detect if it is JSON, if it is and parses we'll default to a JSON value converter for which we can expose the value to the front-end as a strongly typed JObject or JArray and a dynamic version of it for dynamic access.

Of course for use in XSLT this will be very difficult so we'll have to wait for the 'new cache' to be implemented (talk to Stephen) where we have an XPath converter for it too.
