In many cases any legacy packages that are installed will YSOD because they will not contain a mapping from the legacy GUID -> property editor alias. We should instead display a warning describing that we've converted over those data type's to use a label instead and they can now go re-configure it.
cant we do this by default actually? so if a datatype does not have a mapping, we just map it to the label alias?
