U4-3028 - Allow for some ApplicationEventHandlers to execute lazily when they are actually needed to improve startup performance

Created by Shannon Deminick 02 Oct 2013, 23:38:01 Updated by Shannon Deminick 21 Jun 2017, 07:58:15

Some ApplicationEventHandlers only need to execute some of their logic when the back office is loaded for the first time - if we can somehow create a way for this logic to execute on first back office request we could speed startup up a little bit.

For example we have the ApplicationTreeRegistrar which really only needs to run it's logic when the back office is first requested instead of on app startup, I'm sure there are other examples too.

We already have a RouteAttempt event in the UmbracoModule which could be leveraged for exactly this.
