When attempting to add a Color Picker (Umbraco.ColorPickerAlias), I get the following error:
Server error: Contact administrator, see log for full details. Failed to save data for data type id 0
I do not get this error when attempting to create the other DataTypes.
I get the same error when i use "Dropdown list multiple"
It's a problem with all datatypes/property editors that have prevalues associated with them. Simple items are fine, such as textbox.
Hey there, because a newly installed site has some of these datatypes already defined. I was able to modify one of the existing items. Would you have a bit of sql I could run on the db to create a new data type so i could then update using the backoffice. Only if its not to much trouble and just in case this is something that can be fixed easily also, the following link is returning a 404 which is the url for the release this fix is coming out in. http://our.umbraco.org/contribute/releases/701
Hi, please just use the latest nightly builds which contain the fix: http://nightly.umbraco.org/umbraco%207.0.1/
