When I logon the umbraco admin panel, I cannot see the sections (they are event not being loaded). The following errors occur:
GET http://www.mysite.de/umbraco/Api/UpdateCheck/GetCheck 417 Invalid token
GET http://www.mysite.de/umbraco/UmbracoApi/Dashboard/GetDashboard?section=content 417 Invalid token
GET http://www.mysite.de/umbraco/UmbracoApi/Section/GetSections 417 Invalid token
The other web service calls do work fine. But logging out or the timeout check do not work either:
POST http://www.mysite.de/umbraco/UmbracoApi/Authentication/PostLogout 417 Invalid token
Clearing the browser cookies solves the issue. I'm not exactly sure when this happens, but I'm using different machines and different browser during the whole work day. Perhaps an expired cookie validation?
Seems this happens only with Firefox (current v26.0) so far, but I cannot exactly tell you if that is the truth or not.
This affects Chrome and IE also. It's a serious bug that really needs to be fixed asap!
Yes you are right, this affects any browser. It's not really suitable to always clear the cookies before we can log in.
