U4-4055 - List View document types still display children in content tree

Created by Douglas Robar 15 Jan 2014, 09:46:44 Updated by Shannon Deminick 17 Jan 2014, 01:59:55

Seen in 7.0.2 nightly #234 and #238

  1. Create 'News Area' and 'News Item' document types, with news items allowed beneath the area.
  2. Create content pages for the News area and a few news items.
  3. These appear in the content tree normally.
  4. Update the News Area doctype to enable the List View mode.
  5. Return to the content tree (refresh or use other browsers, it doesn't matter) and you will see the News Area page now has the list view information when you select it. And you'll also see all the News Item children continue to be displayed in the content tree.
  6. Create more News Items... they appear in both the list view and content tree.

When in list view mode, children should not appear in the content tree.

Note: this worked correctly in 7.0.1 but not in recent builds for 7.0.2.

Have fixed this up but was due to something changing with the string helpers, the pascal case was not returning correct pascal case. Have asked @Stephen to look into that.
