We have moved to GitHub Issues

In the members tree, the alphabetic breakdown is based on the member login name, but the 'other' category is based on the node text. If you create a member whose login begins with a number, but whose node text is their real name, they don't show up anywhere in the tree.
In fact it looks like the letters correspond to the "login" field. Also, the "other" members show up twice for me: node name: Øresund login: blabla Member shows up in Other and in B.
Now I'm wondering.. what is the node name for, really..? In any case I'd say to keep the node name as the way to do alphabet folders, instead of the login field. This could do with an overhaul and members should just been shown as a list view, really.
So to confirm, the node name should be the member's name not login name?
Yup, it's what I would expect! :)
Will this also be back ported to v6.2? This is quite a serious UI issue for the management of members. If you have a member called Joe Bloggs with a login of firstname.lastname@example.org, they appear under the letter B in the tree. v6.1.6 does not exhibit this issue.
It wasn't a problem with 6.x only 7.x since the tree is new
Actually... I just tested that scenario and in the beta it is indeed the same problem.
Doh! Ok, will update the version, is an issue with the legacy business logic wrapping the new services. Good find and sorry for not noticing: )
