I need to change the ui to spanish. I have set umbracoDefaultUILanguage to "es" and change the user language to Spanish. I have translated the es.xml language becouse there are a lot of texts that are not translated. The backoffice is ok but the issues is on: -The login screen is still in english, how can i change it to spanish? -The datepicker is in english, i think the en culture is hardcoded in the datepicker, how can i change it?
The problem with the login screen is still a problem in version 7.1.6
I have not tested the datepicker.
Issue with localization of the datepicker is related to this issue.
Same issue and hardcoded error messages in umbraco.ressources.js
There are lots of pieces of hardcoded text in Umbraco 7. I'm working on a pull request for 7.3 to fix this (too late for 7.2). I'm hoping my pull request for U4-5520 makes it to 7.2, though.
I have just done a PULL request that fixes the login screen issue.
version 7.5.0 still have issue with language on the login screen. Language setting umbracoDefaultUILanguage applied only on user exit.
@z4kk, I can confirm this behaviour, first app start or pool restart sets the login screen language to the 'en'. The 'umbracoDefaultUILanguage' setting applied on user exit, but after page reloading (F5) the default language 'en' will be restored again.
Problem still exists in 7.5.2
Maybe this issue needs to be reopened?
Still the same problem in 7.5.6 ...
Problem still exists in 7.5.9
Just FYI: this has be "re-fixed" in 7.6.6 - see http://issues.umbraco.org/issue/U4-10356
