U4-4622 - Image Cropper should be clearer what crop you are editing

Created by Alan Mac Kenna 04 Apr 2014, 18:30:50 Updated by Shannon Deminick 24 Jun 2015, 15:53:32

Is duplicated by: U4-5876

When you select a crop it is not obvious what crop you are working on other than when you hover over the crop you get a href title tag showing you the name. I think it should be a label beside the crop.

Agree with this. On one site we have 15 different image dimensions and it would be incredibly difficult to use the image cropper with that many image types. The label and pixel size should be underneath the thumbnail.

It would be really nice if the thumbnails were visible all the time (as they were with the Eksponent.CropUp cropper for U4+). The current "flow" where you have to close the image gets really tiresome after a short while. It would be much nicer if you could just click any of the other thumbs right away. Also, that way, a border (or outline etc.) on the one being edited would serve the purpose of making it clear which crop you are currently editing.
