Currently if you implement an IContentFinder you have no access from the PublishedContentRequest to access anything publicly regarding the content cache. You'd have to use singleton access to make that work which is far less than ideal.
@zpqrtbnk what's your thoughts on this, I'm actually using Umbraco for a side project now and have an IContentFinder. I'd like to have access to the published content bits to query for something but all I'm given is a PublishedContentRequest instance. Internally we have access to it's RoutingContext and from their it's UmbracoContext for traversal, but this is not public.
