U4-4930 - NuGet update fails to copy new Umbraco binaries

Created by Sebastiaan Janssen 16 May 2014, 15:17:47 Updated by Frederik Raabye 17 Jun 2014, 11:16:30

Relates to: U4-5100

When you have included files from Umbraco in the bin folder in your Visual Studio project (see screenshot), NuGet will refuse to copy the new versions in.

So when you run your website, you just get your homepage like nothing ever happened (while you're supposed to see the upgrade screen!).

This is a bit too effective. It will also move/delete non-Umbraco files causing post-upgrade issues with missing package .dll's. Could this be changed to only overwriting known files from the package?
