When using the new Image Cropper from v.7.1, it's only possible to upload a new image. It would be great if it was also possible to choose images from the media library, like with the Media Picker.
Right now our editors have to keep their own media libraries on their local computers, which they choose images from, when they need to reuse an image on several articles.
More detailed description of what I want to achieve can be found here: https://our.umbraco.org/forum/umbraco-7/using-umbraco-7/66509-image-cropper-can-not-pick-from-media
I'd really love to see this functionality as it will combine the best of both worlds.
I'd also really like to see this feature. I love the image cropper but tend to end up using media picker instead for this very reason as content editors complain that they have to upload the images from their pc.
Would love this feature too. Replacing the media upload with image cropper can solve some issues, but the content editors still can't see how an image is cropped / choose a focal point. Instead requiring them to manipulate the image ratio through Paint.NET. No clean solution until we combine Media and image cropper
Editors may wish to re-use an image already in the media section (but may cause complications) and after uploading images are keen to see how their images will be cropped and displayed; they may also wish to amend them in the media section without having to go back to the content node.
