I'm not sure how to tag this as a feature request.

I am suggesting adding functionality to the content tree in the back office (well all the trees) so that if you double click a collapsed node, it expands it's children instead of having to click on the little arrow on the left. It is way more efficient when going through tons of content to double click them as opposed to clicking the arrow. I wager I spend 5% of time navigating the back office just getting the mouse on that arrow...

I figure I can add a javascript file to my package manifest that will add the functionality, and when I do I'll post it here, I just haven't got around to it yet.

This is still a useful feature request. Perhaps especially for touch screen users. But even for desktop and mouse users having a larger target area would be a time saver. Thanks for considering!

I made a PR for this at Hackathon (this toggles the expanded state, not only expands):

One difference with the triangle is the node will also be selected if this was not the case yet, as the ng-click will still fire which selects the node (before the ng-dblclick).
