U4-6294 - Feature Request 7.2.1 Grid - UX - labeling the grid editors

Created by Michal Koblasa 19 Feb 2015, 13:31:38 Updated by Sebastiaan Janssen 19 Mar 2015, 12:59:52

When person who is editing content in grid, creates content structure from h1, h2, citation, text. After the grid components are inserted into grid, there is no information about: "What kind of this grid editor is this cell, is it H1 or H2?"

Why it is needed? Becaose styling diference between h1 or h2 are not obvious. It helps to better user orientation.

We suppose to create a label for grid components, see attachment. This labels will be shown together with the frame, when mouse hover. Also we recommend to trigger hover effect not only on the cell icons (settings, move and delete) but for whole area of element.

A mouseover on the grid cell showing the type of cell would also do it for me
