Given the values specified by web.config “umbracoTimeOutInMinutes" (i.e. 20 minutes) and umbracosettings.config “keepUserLoggedIn” (i.e. true) it appears that Umbraco Forms Authentication is actually working correctly, this is more of a cosmetic issue for Content Managers when looking at the “Session Expires in: ” information on their profile panel.
What did you expect to happen? Every time I perform something in the backoffice that requires authentication and then open the Profile panel the “Session Expires” value should reflect the fact that it has been renewed
What actually happened? The time shown by "Session Expires in" renews on what seems an arbitrary basis. I.e. if I save some content and then immediately go and view the “Session Expires” value I would presume it would only be a matter of seconds less than the value of “umbracoTimeOutInMinutes”.
maybe the "Session Expires in" message should be hidden/removed until it can accurately reflect the actual time remaining?
