U4-6490 - MultiNode selector does not remove node if node has been deleted and put in Recycle bin

Your report will have a greater chance of being addressed if you can give us clear steps to reproduce the issue, please answer the following questions in as much detail as possible:

What did you do?

We created new pages. Top Level Page

  • Page 1
  • Page 2
  • Page 3

In a different node/page (MyPageWithPicker) we have a MultiNode Tree Picker in which we choose the 3 newly created pages. When we deleted one of the pages from the Tree (such as Page 2). The MultiNode Tree Picker on "MyPageWithPicker" did not reflect the 'Deletion' of the 'Page 2'. Since it still is in the Recycle Bin the node is never removed from the list. We then have to go into our 'MyPageWithPicker,' remove the page from the MNTP and then republish the page.

If we delete the Page 2 from the Recycle Bin, it finally removes it from 'MyPageWIthPicker' MNTP but we have to republish the node to ensure all deletion has taken effect.

I would expect that when we 'Delete' a page and it goes to the recycle bin, it would reflect it in the MNTP as well, not have to delete the node completely from Umbraco. I would hope that we would not have to republish the node with the MNTP on it for the actual changes to take effect.
