This seems to have been implemented in the 7.4 branch, we need to find out how we are going to handle this in the new Content Type editor.

@rune What do you mean? This is completed in 7.4 and works for content types, media types and data types. I think this issue can be closed since this has been moved to closed/reviewed:

@Shandem ah sorry, wasn't looking at sprint but 7.4 board. It relates to U4-6911 which has been updated. But we still need to look at how this should handled in the new Content Type Editor right? It potentially adds another step when adding a property editor to a doc type.

Yes, this would need to be reviewed for that purpose to see how having data type folders is handled when referencing data types from the content type editor. I'll move this task to review so someone can review that process... it might just work. I don't see any reason why we should allow creating data type folders from inside the content type editor, that is just adding complexity.

@Claus.Jensen and I have tested the functionality of folders. *Create folders *Create data type in folder *move data type to folder Currently the content type editor places data types in the root.
