It would be nice to be able to toggle the visibility (show/hide) of the password in login screen, e.g. like when you login on Windows.
Closing issue due to inactivity - see blog post for details https://umbraco.com/blog/issue-tracker-cleanup/
I'll open this again, since it has a PR :)
Have re-implemented with a directive, PR is https://github.com/umbraco/Umbraco-CMS/pull/2246
test = test that it works on the main login screen on most browsers
should it be considered ok, maybe we want to apply it to other password inputs?
(and suggesting we close the original PR https://github.com/umbraco/Umbraco-CMS/pull/885)
Great job guys, I have tested the feature using Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Opera and all yielded the same results except IE 11, which on show/hide password it would shrink the "crossed eye" icon (.gif in the attachments).
I took it upon myself to fix it as it was quite simple.
I have added
width='32' height='32' parameters to
[type="text"] background-image for the "crossed eye" icon and that fixed it.
