When creating a package from backoffice, one can include content nodes. However it should also be possible to select the checkbox by clicking "Include all child nodes", like it is for Document Types, Template, Stylesheets etc.
So just use a similar markup to e.g. Document Types -> BlogPost:
<input id="body_documentTypes_0" type="checkbox" name="ctl00$body$documentTypes$0" value="1058"> <label for="body_documentTypes_0">Blog Post</label>
So something like this:
<input id="body_packageContentSubdirs" type="checkbox" name="ctl00$body$packageContentSubdirs"> <label for="body_packageContentSubdirs">Include all child nodes</label>
It also seems that you only can include all nodes or nodes from a specific root. It would be nice if it used a MNTP, so you can include sibling nodes or multiple root nodes.
