It seems I can't just rename of document type alias by changing its casing, e.g.
master -> Master sEO -> Seo
this give an error that an document type, media type or member type with this alias already exists. I think it maybe should check if it not is itself that is being renamed.
instead of have to rename it first and then rename it again, e.g. master -> master1 -> Master sEO -> Seo1 -> Seo
I've noticed this on Member Type alias
I created a member type alias of
I realised I wanted it to be pascal case (to be compatible with some legacy code) so tried to rename it to
JobBoardMember. However, I got the message: "A content type, media type or member type with this alias already exists"
I think the check for whether it exists should be case sensitive.
@DanDiplo okay, then it might also be an issue for Media Types as well?
This also happens on version 7.5.3 I can work a round by changing the name to something i know not exist an change it back to the name i want with the correct casing
Just fell foul of this in a demo, and was just in the middle of creating a new issue and the issue tracker suggested this one instead!
