What did you do? Installed Umbraco 7.4.3 via nuget. ran install process. created a base document type with common properties. deleted default template created automatically for base document. created a master template. created child document type under base document type. created template for child document type under master template. attempted to create content node at root using child document type.

What did you expect to happen? i should see no document types to select from at the root because 'ALLOW AS ROOT' check box is unchecked.

What actually happened? I can see both base and child document types when i choose to create node at root.

Hi there, this is expected behavior at the moment to maintain backwards compatibility, see U4-158 for a longer explanation. This is a good reminder for us to update this in V8.
