Your report will have a greater chance of being addressed if you can give us clear steps to reproduce the issue, please answer the following questions in as much detail as possible:
'''What did you do?''' At 13:30 I created a new article (IContent) using the IContentService.SaveAndPublishWithStatus with a releaseDate of 13:45. At 13:45 this article gets released and the releaseDate is cleared (correct behaviour) + the "published" column is set to 1 (correct behaviour).
However, if I update the article again and set the releasedate to 14:30 then I see a new record appearing in cmsDocument which immediately has the "published" column set to 1 (not correct because it was not released yet) while the releasedate is filled in (correct as I set it again to 14:30).
'''What did you expect to happen?''' The record in cmsDocument that was released at 13:45 should have "published" set to 1. The record in cmsDocument that is not yet released at 14:30 should NOT have "published" set to 1.
'''What actually happened?''' The record in cmsDocument that was released at 13:45 has "published" set to 0. The record in cmsDocument that is not yet released at 14:30 has "published" set to 1.
